Slow Cooker Sunday: Chicken Edition

Here are two great (and very easy) chicken recipes we tried out this week....

Barbeque Chicken Legs
*What you make when you have frozen chicken legs and no time to cook them after work

Ingredients:
8 frozen chicken legs
1/2 bottle Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce

Directions:
Place the chicken legs in the slow cooker.
Pour the BBQ sauce on top.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Cowboy Chicken
*Served great with white rice

Ingredients:
1-1.5 pounds of boneless chicken breasts
1 jar (15 ounces) of salsa
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 taplespoon of dijon mustard

Directions:
Place chicken (defrosted) in the slow cooker.
Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken.
Cook on low for 5 hours.

Both were super yummy and somewhat healthy. :-)

You think I can do the chicken legs with ones fresh from the meat section...not frozen?? They are always cheap and I love finding easy recipes!!
Thanks for the slow cooker ideas!! I love when dinner is ready when I get home and I don't really have to do anything!!!
