Easter Egg Hunt

After a very stormy Saturday, our church held an Easter egg hunt for the kids on Sunday morning. It was a beautiful morning (however a bit windy for our little guys), but Zoe and Brooklyn had a blast out on the church field. Most of the eggs were empty except for a few that had special notes inside to redeem for a special prize, and all kids left with a goodie bag. I totally preferred that to getting a bunch of candy sent home with my kid. And Brooklyn actually chose a "Golden Egg" that allowed her to leave with some great gardening tools that she used right away planting flowers at Gramma's house that afternoon.
